Pi Datametrics & Intelligent Positioning to receive £2.5m in new funding from Mercia Technologies

Mercia Technologies PLC (“Mercia”), a Midlands-based investment group which funds and commercialises technology businesses across the UK, is to invest up to £2.5m into ‘emerging star’ Intelligent Positioning and its SAAS product, Pi Datametrics.

IP received initial investment from Mercia Fund Management (MFM) in 2015 and this 2nd stage sum was awarded by Mercia Technologies, one of the leading investment businesses in UK tech.

IP has been recognised as a developer of “Innovative real-time search intelligence and Search Engine Optimisation analytics solutions for businesses.”. With a client list including AXA Investment Management, Invesco, L’Oréal, River Island, Waterstones, M&S, Clarks and many more, IP is a proven success.

Pi Datametrics Content Performance Platform

Pi Datametrics, IP’s content performance software, aids corporations and agencies with marketing optimisation and business intelligence; focussing on global search engines such as Google and YouTube. Their real USP is in their abundant supply of data and provisions for deep-dive analysis, which other platforms simply don’t provide.

Since MFM’s initial investment, IP has secured a number of blue-chip clients and Pi continues to democratise the search and data market with pioneering research and greater in-depth analysis.
